Here is important information you need to know: Last year more people won the diversity lottery than there were green cards available. This means that those people who waited too long to claim their green card – missed out. All green cards were given away by the time they applied to receive the green card. This also happened to people whose “number” was very high and they could not apply early.
We strongly suggest that all people who are in the USA should apply for green card as soon as their number is current. We suggest that you check visa bulletin every month to see if you are eligible to apply. The very first day you are eligible, you should have the application delivered to immigration office. Please do not wait. This is very important!

There is no charge to complete and submit the Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form. Applicants who enter the DV lottery will need to monitor their status using the registration confirmation number.
